Trăng Thu

Hum’s annual autumn gathering

Each autumn, Hum welcomes the Mid-Autumn moon in its own way:
with a thoughtfully crafted menu, Vietnamese ingredients at their seasonal peak, and encounters
that unfold naturally when we come together at the table.

This year, Trăng Thu returns with Harvest Season – a reflection on the meeting of land, season,
human hands and time, when everything arrives at its most beautiful moment.

Each autumn, Hum welcomes the Mid-Autumn moon in its own way: with a thoughtfully crafted menu, Vietnamese ingredients at their seasonal peak, and encounters that unfold naturally when we come together at the table.

This year, Trăng Thu returns with Harvest Season – a reflection on the meeting of land, season, human hands and time, when everything arrives at its most beautiful moment.

Harvest Season

Some things are at their finest
only when the time is right.

From the land, ingredients are nurtured.

With the season, they find
their most beautiful moment to appear.

Through human hands, they are
carefully selected and turned into flavour.

And with time, craft and the ways of
a trade are preserved and carried forward.

Mùa Chín is where these four meet
– in the food, in the craft, and in the people who make the night of Trăng Thu.

A season in flavour

A fine-dining menu created exclusively for the two nights of Trăng Thu

Drawing from the spirit of Mùa Chín, Hum brings together carefully selected Vietnamese ingredients at their seasonal peak, preserving their character while opening up new layers of flavour.

From aroma and taste to texture and the way each course arrives at the table, every detail comes together in one considered rhythm – inviting autumn to be experienced through the senses.

The keeper of the craft

An encounter with one who carries a craft forward

Master artisan Trần Xuân Duy, who continues to practise and preserve the traditional art of Southern Vietnamese glass painting, will share the techniques passed down through generations and the cultural stories held within each painted line.

A chance to close to a living tradition, hear its story from the person carrying it forward, and encounter what time has preserved.

Gathering under the moon

When private gatherings come together beneath the Mid-Autumn moon

After the meal, Trăng Thu opens into a moment of shared encounter, as Vietnamese heritage art finds its place within the dining space, bringing separate tables together in one collective moment.

A gentle continuation of the evening – where sound, space and people come together beneath the moon.
