“THUMbs up for Hum”
We went to Hum for lunch on our first day in HCMC. We had to search a bit for the restaurant as the location on Trip Adviser is a bit off. (It is just past the gate of the War Reminants Museum.)
I am glad we persisted. You walk off the street into a lovely little oasis of tranquility. The staff were friendly, the service was quick. we would recommend the Winged bean salad and the Tempura vegetables. However, the menu was packed full of lovely sounding food, so I am sure there are other gems in there. I am not a vegetarian. Hum is not what you would call a traditional Vietnamese cuisine and is in the mid price range. But the food was local, fresh and tasted amazing.
